EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Borderland music fans and fans of Karol G continued with their celebration on Sunday, Sept. 6.
Fans of the Latin superstar arrived hours early for her second show of the weekend at the Sun Bowl stadium, some arriving as early as 10 a.m.

Doors open at 5 p.m. The show is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

Javier Mata, an El Paso native who grew up in Segundo Barrio, said he was attending the show with some of his friends who came in from Las Vegas.
He also said he spent three days working on his Karol G-inspired outfit to wear to the concert.
“It is worth it, being here,” said Mata, who arrived at 10 a.m.
“We got here early to get a good spot,” he said.
Evelyn attended the show to celebrate her birthday along with her sister and best friend.
They arrived at 2:30 p.m. and were trying to keep cool with some electrolyte drinks and some water.
Valerie Bastillo and her daughters got in line at about 1:30 p.m.
“It is a mommy and daughter day,” she said. “We are excited to see Karol G. We are ready and excited to go, super excited.”
