P. Terry’s Burger Stand is ready to begin vertical construction on its first location inside Houston’s Interstate 610 Loop.
The Austin-based company posed a video update on Instagram on Sept. 2 showing the site at 4815 Katy Freeway. It’s at the corner of Durham Drive and Interstate 10, north of the Washington Avenue corridor and south of the Heights.

“The site has officially been prepped for delivery of the building, which means if you’re driving by soon, you may see a brand-new P. Terry’s pop up overnight,” James Overton, construction manager for P. Terry’s, said in the video voiceover.
It will be the popular burger chain’s fifth Houston-area location when it opens in early 2027, Overton said.
