Dallas-Fort Worth residents can expect continued high temperatures this week and little chance of rain.

Patricia Sanchez, National Weather Service meteorologist, said the weather will be steadily hot and dry.

Sanchez recommends that at the peak of the day, people take frequent breaks, stay hydrated even if they don’t feel thirsty and find shade to cool off in.

Tuesday: Sunny and hot with a high near 101 during the day. Clear with a low around 79 at night.



Wednesday: Sunny and hot with a high near 100 during the day. Mostly clear with a low around 79 at night.

Thursday: Sunny and hot with a high near 99 during the day. Partly cloudy with a low around 78 at night. 



Friday: Sunny and hot with a high near 100 during the day. Mostly clear with a low around 78 at night.

Saturday: Sunny and hot with a high of 100 during the day. Mostly clear with a low around 77 at night. 



Sunday: Sunny with a high near 98 during the day.
