SAN ANTONIO – Police are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate a suspect in the killing of 44-year-old Herion Chase, who was shot and killed outside a Northeast Side business in 2018.
The homicide happened Thursday, Sept. 8, 2018, at about 3:32 a.m. in the parking lot of Big Cassel Smoke House at 5855 IH 10 E., San Antonio, Texas 78219.
According to the case synopsis, Chase was standing in the parking lot when two unknown Black males were across the street next to a white vehicle. Police said one of the men pulled out a firearm and started shooting at Chase. Chase was struck once and died at the scene.
Police said the two men got into the white vehicle and fled westbound on IH 10.
Investigators said the case remains unsolved and they need the identification and location of the suspect responsible for the murder. The information was originally released Sept. 18, 2018.
