ELSMORE, Kan. (WIBW) – Two people were taken to the hospital after the car they were in crashed during a police chase Monday in Allen County, officials said.
The incident was reported at 11:42 a.m. Monday at 4550th Street and Hawaii Road, about two miles northeast of Elsmore.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2010 Cadillac CTS was traveling recklessly as it was traveling east on Hawaii Road while it was being pursued by law enforcement.

Near the intersection with 4550th Road, the driver lost control of the Cadillac, causing it to veer off the roadway to the right before crossing over Hawaii Road amd coming to rest off the left side of the roadway.
The driver, identified as Logan L. Fielding, 18, of Junction City, was transported to an area hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries.
A passenger in the Cadillac, identified as Brooklyn K. Rhodes, 15, of Texas, also was taken to an area hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries.
The patrol said neither occupant of the Cadillac was wearing a seat belt.
