Houston’s Restaurant Weeks season isn’t over yet, at least not for the Pappas. The local dining dynasty has extended its first-ever Pappas Restaurant Weeks event, keeping its $40 three-course meals on the menu a little longer across the city and country.
The family-owned restaurant group has been featuring specially curated menus across its concepts to benefit local food banks. It just happens to also coincide with the already established Houston Restaurant Weeks. Pappas’ big event was supposed to wrap up on Monday, but the Houston hospitality group decided to push it further along to Sept. 20.

Pappas’ extended Restaurant Weeks is being offered at six of its restaurants (down from the original 10). Christina Pappas, chief marketing officer for the group confirmed to Chron that those include Pappadeaux, Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, Pappas Delta Blues, and Pappas Seafood House, Little’s Oyster Bar & Yiayia’s Greek Kitchen. The extended Restaurants Weeks offerings are available at all locations of those concepts in the Houston area and beyond.
The menus and donation amounts vary by the concept, Pappas told Chron. For instance, Pappadeaux has a $40 three-course prix fixe menu with $5 going to the Houston Food Bank. At Little’s Oyster Bar and Yiayia’s Greek Kitchen, the menus are priced at $65, with $8 donated.
“Our guests have embraced the first year of Pappas Restaurant Weeks, helping raise more than $800,000 for local food banks nationwide. We look forward to making it an annual initiative that provides meaningful support to communities across the country,” Pappas said.
