IRVING, Texas – The Irving Fire Department is working to extinguish an apartment fire in the 1900 block of Carl Road, which is just south of Hwy. 183 and west of Loop 12 Walton Walker Rd.

There could be some closures of some side streets in the immediate area. 

Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
