Daydreamer Coffee has officially joined the Rainey Street scene, opening its doors Friday inside the new 48-story Paseo building. It’s the second Austin location for the café chain.
The new spot leans into warm tones, cushy seating and design details that make it feel like your most stylish friend’s living room. With plenty of outlets and natural light, it’s built for laptop days or catching up with friends over a slow morning latte.
Daydreamer says it’s all about community and conversation — more “let’s decompress” than “heads-down hustle.” Expect to see Rainey Street locals grabbing coffee before work and residents from upstairs winding down with a glass of wine after hours.
Beyond espresso and matcha basics, the drink lineup gets playful. Seasonal stars include a cookie butter latte topped with vanilla cold foam and Biscoff crumbs, and a toasted matcha with hazelnut, white chocolate and chocolate drizzle. Pastries come from Texas French Bread, and this is the first Daydreamer to roll out a wine program for golden-hour sips on the patio.
Drinks start around the typical $5 to $7 range, depending on your add-ons (and how fancy your foam gets).
Daydreamer Coffee at Paseo is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. — a new stop for Rainey locals, laptop warriors and anyone chasing that golden-hour glow on Rainey.
