Uvalde man arrested after early morning search tied to alleged child abuse material

UVALDE COUNTY, Texas — A Uvalde man was arrested for alleged activities involving child abuse material after a search warrant was executed Friday, according to Uvalde County Sheriff Ruben Nolasco.

Uvalde County deputies assisted U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) with a search warrant during the early morning hours on Friday.

Matthew Keith Chaney, 34, was arrested for alleged activities involving material related to the sexual exploitation of minors, including receipt or distribution of child pornography, Sheriff Nolasco said in a Facebook post.
