SAN ANTONIO — Fans were robbed from seeing the conclusion to quite a few games this past week. Mother nature continues to be a theme so far during this season.
KT’s Armelin 12-yd TD catch
Still plenty of great plays to showcase including our nominee from Kerrville Tivy, Kyrin Armelin with a great catch in the corner of the endzone just before halftime.
Kyrin’s got a twin brother on the team that is also crazy athletic and the Antlers offense can sure light up the scoreboard. Great catch by Kyrin to get the nomination.
Sotomayor’s Pena 30-yd TD run
Our second nominee is from the Sotomayor Wildcats. Isaiah Pena, calling his own number of the read option, bounces off a few tacklers and then speeds his way to the pylong for the 30-yard touchdown. Pena and running back Cameron Grady are a powerful and dynamic one two punch in the running game for Sotomayor.
Johnson’s 9-yd TD run
Our final nominee from week three is from the Johnson Jaguars. Look at Jeremiah Johnson tough physical running also shedding tacklers and he scores from nine yards out.
Johnson’s tough running helped the jags cruise over the Odessa Bronchos 37-0. They’re off to a 3-0 start, coach T.P. Miller has got a strong looking squad.
Now it’s your turn to get in the game and make your voice heard. Which play will take home the title of Friday Night Fever Play of the Week?
You can vote as many times as you like. The poll closes on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
News 4’s Don Harris will reveal the winner on Thursday.
