The Fort Worth singer has been staying busy ahead of the release of his album Happiness Anytime. On Saturday, he joined country artist Shaboozey on stage in Dallas during the latter’s show at South Side Ballroom.
The duo performed their recent collaboration “Burn It Down,” which came out in July as a single for Shaboozey’s latest album The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales. A social media post from the venue said the duo also performed “Texas Sun,” Bridges’ popular 2019 song with Khruangbin.
Bridges appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon just last week and performed a medley of “Light the Way,” “Illusion” and “Talk It Over,” three songs off his upcoming album.
Before his late night performance, Bridges made a surprise appearance in late August at a preopening party for Italian restaurant Élephante in Uptown Dallas.
Bridges dropped four songs from the 12-track Happiness Anytime in both July and August ahead of the full album’s release on Sept. 25.
