SAN ANTONIO — Police have identified the suspect and victim in a fatal shooting Saturday night on the city’s South Side.
The suspect has been identified as 70-year-old Ramon Vasquez Rodriguez, and the victim was identified as 62-year-old Norma Linda Villarreal.

San Antonio police responded around 7:56 p.m. to a residence in the 8500 block of South Presa Street after Rodriguez called police and said that Villarreal was bothering him.
Upon arrival, officers detained Rodriguez outside the home, where he told them he had shot her inside. Officers entered the house and found Villarreal suffering from a gunshot wound.
EMS responded, but Villarreal was pronounced dead at the scene.
