“Landman” is beginning to cast extras for season 3.

The Paramount+ series is primarily filmed in and around Fort Worth, including in downtown, at the Stockyards and in the AllianceTexas area. The Star-Telegram put together a map of all the Fort Worth locations in season 2.

While Paramount+ has yet to officially announce a production start date for season 3, series star James Jordan previously said that filming will begin sometime after Labor Day. Another indicator that filming is nearly here is the recent casting of “Lioness” star Michael Kelly in “Landman” as an oil executive.

Now, Texas-based Legacy Casting is adding more fuel to the fire with a batch of recent casting calls for season 3 filming later this month.

Here’s what to know.

More on ‘Landman’

“Landman” was co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, and is described as a “modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of West Texas oil rigs.”

“As oil rises from the earth, so do secrets – and Tommy Norris’s (Billy Bob Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes. Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Demi Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble – it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break,” the show’s second season synopsis reads.

“Landman” stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Sam Elliott, Ali Larter, Andy Garcia, Paulina Chávez, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, James Jordan, Kayla Wallace, Colm Feore and Mark Collie.

Both seasons of “Landman” are streaming on Paramount+.
