HOUSTON – There’s a new indoor playground and family restaurant in River Oaks that’s giving families a place where kids can play, parents can relax – and everyone can actually enjoy themselves.
The goal? To create a true gathering place for Houston families. A place to play, eat, connect and find a little more balance in the day.
Recess in River Oaks is where kids ages 0 to 11 can enjoy screen-free play, while parents can actually relax, grab a bite, meet up with friends or even get a little work done. From the professionally supervised Canopy to the baby-and-toddler-friendly Garden, Recess is designed to give the whole family something to look forward to.
The Canopy is a professionally supervised, screen-free play space designed for kids ages 3–11. Children can run, climb, explore and burn off some energy while parents enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing they’re being supervised.
For the littlest members of the family, The Garden is a dedicated play and dining space for babies and toddlers ages 0–3, with caregivers staying nearby.
That means families with kids of different ages can all find a space that works for them.
Upstairs, Recess features a full-service bistro and bar serving approachable food and drinks that parents will actually want to order—plus plenty of options for the kids.
For more information and to reserve your space, log onto their website Recess River Oaks or call 832-390-4660.
