SAN ANTONIO – Snoopy fans lined up outside Starbucks stores across San Antonio as the coffee chain launched a new limited-edition Peanuts collection celebrating fall.
Starbucks rolled out the merchandise Thursday at participating locations around the world, including a spot near Loop 410 and Babcock Road. The collection features 10 collectible items, all inspired by the iconic Halloween special “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” on its 60 anniversary. Customers found drinkware, accessories and a plush, many showcasing beloved Peanuts characters in fall-themed designs.
A key highlight was the coveted Snoopy Glass Cold Cup, decorated with a pumpkin beanie, green scarf and a Woodstock straw topper. Starbucks placed a two-item limit per customer on this cup to help keep up with demand. The mood at local shops echoed last year’s holiday edition craze, when a similar release sent fans nationwide scrambling.
Other merchandise in the lineup includes a Snoopy plush for $34.95, a 16-ounce Stainless Steel Tumbler with a Woodstock charm for $32.95 and a mug revealing a surprise Snoopy inside for $29.95. Accessories in the set feature a mini tote, bag charm and an enamel pin set, all blending classic Peanuts imagery with Starbucks’ fall style.

“The return of Pumpkin Spice Latte and ‘It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown’ are both enduring signs that fall has arrived,” said Dana Pellicano from Starbucks. “This collaboration brings those traditions together in a collection designed to celebrate the joy of the season and we’re excited to share it with our customers. The Snoopy glass cold cup is a special addition to the collection, one that is sure to become a cherished keepsake for Starbucks and Peanuts fans alike.”
“Like Linus, I eagerly await the coming of The Great Pumpkin this time every year. And as a Pumpkin Spice Latte fan (oatmilk, whipped cream), I am so delighted to again be working with the wonderful people of Starbucks to bring this program to life,” added Lisa Silverman Meyers, senior vice president, International at Peanuts Worldwide.
All merchandise is available while supplies last and is expected to sell out quickly based on the turnout seen in San Antonio and elsewhere.
