Taylor Sheridan‘s Paramount+ oil drama is filming Season 3 in North Texas this month and looking for extras to fill a variety of roles.
Legacy Casting put out several casting calls for small parts ranging from “midstream oil workers” to “neighbors with vehicles” to “Latino oil thief.” The calls are on the website MyCastingFile, which actors use to find background work.
The openings all shoot in Fort Worth or Haslet, a suburb just north of Cowtown. The shoot dates vary from Sept. 25 to Sept. 30. The pay ranges from $110 for 10 hours of work to $200 for a 12-hour shoot.
Filming for Season 3 of Landman was previously slated to start in late August, according to lead actor Billy Bob Thornton, but was moved to September. Past seasons have filmed in D-FW with shoots across Fort Worth, including downtown and on Texas Christian University’s campus, and the surrounding areas in smaller towns like Springtown and Jacksboro. Dallas has also been a filming site.
Paramount has not yet announced a release date for Season 3.
