SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A former San Antonio police officer is under investigation after police say he exposed himself at a Converse church while near elementary school classrooms.

According to the Converse Police Department, officers responded around 10:15 a.m. August 21 to St. Monica Catholic Church after receiving a report of a man exposing himself on the property.

Investigators say security video shows Reyes Martinez Jr., of San Antonio, parking an SUV near the church’s elementary classrooms. Investigators said Martinez was wearing women’s clothing, looking into windows and lifting his clothing to expose himself.

Martinez has not been arrested, and Converse PD says the case will be handed over to the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office for review.

The San Antonio Police Department confirmed Martinez is a former officer who retired September 7, 2026.
