There was a battle in Dallas this week. Gallons of tears bled on the keyboard combat zone that is the Harry Styles tour ticket queue. Some came out victorious, others were cast to the lawless land of the secondary ticket market. And we wish them luck.

Styles is one of the many (but probably the biggest for now) artists to have announced 2027 tour dates in Dallas. If you are a devout Directioner, you know Styles has since added three new dates since first announcing his Dallas stops, giving fans unparalleled joy and us on the Observer’s music desk a headache.

But he isn’t the only former member of the boyband to come through Big D next year. The band’s Irish representative, Niall Horan, will also stop in North Texas later in the spring. Earlier this year, Zayn Malik canceled the entire United States leg of his first solo headline arena tour, so if we keep our fingers tightly crossed, maybe he’ll reschedule the tour and add a Dallas date. It won’t be a reunion of the band, but it may be as good as we can get.

Dallas, with some of the biggest venues in the state, remains a staple stop for major artists. But we also get small artists on their way up and artists decades into their careers that have kept a loyal fan base. Next year’s calendar so far holds both for the region’s music fans.
