And for brave fans, an on-site tattoo means drip coffee for life. Or you can just enjoy the festival.

Cliff Coffee is celebrating its first year in Plano with a neighborhood festival, $1 coffee and a rather unusual offer for customers willing to make their love of the shop permanent.

The Plano coffee shop will host its first-anniversary celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, with local vendors, face painting, a tattoo artist and other activities.

Those super fans – or brave souls – who get a Cliff Coffee logo tattoo will receive free drip coffee from the shop for life.

For those looking for a less permanent way to celebrate, Cliff Coffee will offer $1 drip coffee from Sept. 26-29. The four-day promotion concludes on National Coffee Day.

“We wanted to do something that felt fun, unexpected and true to Cliff,” Director of Operations Michael Colatarci said. “We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has walked through our doors this past year, and what better way to say thank you than $1 coffee – and free coffee for life if you’re willing to get our logo tattooed on you?”

The Sept. 26 festival is intended to bring together the customers, local makers and small businesses that have supported Cliff Coffee during its first year in Plano.
