On Sept. 16, Frazier Revitalization unveiled a new home built for South Dallas resident Eula Wilson.
Earlier this year, Dallas Free Press’ Jennie Trejo interviewed Wilson about her living conditions and her almost six-year, unsuccessful journey to qualify for the City of Dallas’ home repair programs.
After the story was published, the nonprofit Frazier Revitalization made a home assessment of Wilson’s home and determined it was unsafe.
Through the Frazier Healthy Homes program, they built Wilson a brand new home. Funders, friends and family gathered on Wednesday morning to celebrate a new beginning for Wilson.
