Bill Miller Bar-B-Q donates warehouse space for 2026 Elf Louise Christmas Project

  • September 20, 2026

Bill Miller Bar-B-Q announced Thursday it is providing space to the Elf Louise Christmas Project in its downtown warehouse to serve as the workshop hub for the holiday season, giving the longtime San Antonio holiday organization a central home as volunteers prepare gifts for families across Bexar County.

The donated space will be used throughout the Christmas season as volunteers wrap more than 30,000 gifts and organize more than 400 Santa teams to deliver them.

Elf Louise leaders said the location will help volunteers work together more efficiently while continuing the organization’s mission of bringing Christmas gifts to children who might otherwise go without.

“It is the perfect location for the Elves to come together,” Karen Gordon, executive director of Elf Louise said in a news release. “Having a central, welcoming space where our volunteers can work side by side allows us to bring the magic of Christmas to life for thousands of children and families. We are incredibly grateful for this generous donation and for the opportunity to make this space our Elf home for the season.”

Bill Miller Bar-B-Q said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting the San Antonio community.

“It is a great honor to provide a workshop location for the 2026 Elf Louise Christmas Project,” Jim Guy Egbert, president and CEO of Bill Miller Bar-B-Q said in a news release. “San Antonio has taken care of Bill Miller for generations, and we believe in taking care of our community in return. When we heard Elf Louise needed a home for this year’s Christmas Project, we were fortunate to have a space that could help.”

Egbert said the company is honored to welcome volunteers and support a tradition that has brought Christmas joy to San Antonio children for more than 57 years.

Now in its 58th year, the Elf Louise Christmas Project connects corporate sponsors, donors and volunteers with local families during the holiday season.
