A man was fatally shot and pronounced dead in East Harris County on Sunday night after sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for service possibly involving domestic violence.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said on X Sunday night that deputies responded to a call for service at the Pines of Woodforest, an apartment complex located at 90 Uvalde Road near Wallisville.
Gonzalez said an adult man was shot and pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities are investigating whether the shooting involved intimate partner violence, Gonzalez said.
