As fall sports are starting to wind down, multiple teams are near key matches and races, while the basketball season is just getting underway.

Here is the schedule for Tuesday to Oct. 17.

Women’s basketball

The women’s basketball team has a busy week, starting against the University of Wyoming at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at College Park Center.

The team will face Tennessee State University during Homecoming weekend at 5 p.m. Friday at College Park Center. After a quick turnaround, the Mavericks will hit the road to face Lamar University at 2 p.m. Sunday in Beaumont, Texas. All games will be available to stream on ESPN+.

Men’s basketball

The men’s basketball team is slated to face Missouri State University at 5 p.m. Saturday at College Park Center for a Homecoming game. The game will be available to stream on ESPN+.

Volleyball

The women’s volleyball team continued its losing streak Saturday, falling to Utah Valley University 3-0.

The Mavericks are hoping to get their first win of November against Southern Utah University at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at America First Events Center in Cedar City, Utah. The team will play one more game over the weekend, facing Utah Tech University at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. George, Utah. Both games are available to stream on ESPN+.

Cross-country

The cross-country teams look to national competitions after finishing conference play, set to compete in the NCAA South Central Regional. The women’s team kicks off at 10:30 a.m. and the men’s race starts at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
