LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A new traveling museum is in Lubbock, highlighting stories of neighbors helping neighbors.
The “People of Hope” mobile museum is parked at the Catholic Diocese of Lubbock at Fourth Street and Toledo Avenue.
The free, immersive exhibit is set up inside a high-tech semi truck. It includes video stories, an interactive poverty simulation and a recording booth where visitors can share their own stories of hope.
The museum is open today until 7 p.m. and tomorrow from noon to 6 p.m.
Organizers said they want people to walk away feeling more connected to their community and more inspired to help others.
