Unrivaled “is coming to Houston,” as the 3-on-3 basketball league “will play a doubleheader at Toyota Center on Feb. 12 as part of its nationwide tour.” Unrivaled Chief Growth Officer Chloe Pavlech said that the decision to come to Houston “was a no-brainer due to the city’s history of women’s basketball and the excitement of people in the local community.” The doubleheader “will also be a harbinger for fans looking forward to welcoming the Houston Comets back to the WNBA later in 2027.” The 2027 season’s tour “will have eight stops across the country.” Boston, N.Y., Philadelphia, Detroit and Minneapolis will also host tour stops, “with two more locations scheduled to be announced” (HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 9/21).
