The new restaurant will be at CityLine Market, at 1419 E. Renner Road, Suite 500, in Richardson, and will open on Sept. 23.
Contrary to what its name might suggest, this is not a place where you can buy steak or anything like that. This is a place where diners could get customizable bowls, salads, sandwiches and all-day breakfast dishes, as well as juices and protein shakes. It is a healthful kind of restaurant.
The restaurant will offer dine-in, pickup and delivery options. It also offers catering for meetings or other events.
The first Original ChopShop in D-FW opened in April 2018, in Las Colinas. Since then, the brand has opened nine other restaurants in Allen, Fort Worth, Dallas, McKinney, Plano and Southlake. The one in Richardson will be its 11th restaurant in the area and the 16th in Texas.
Founded in Scottsdale, Ariz., the Original ChopShop also has locations in Houston and College Station, in Texas, as well as several in Arizona and Georgia.
“Richardson has been a market we’ve wanted to be in for a long time, and CityLine is a great fit for ChopShop,” Jason Morgan, CEO of Original ChopShop, said in a statement.
