Cristian Edward Muñoz, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend fell asleep in death at his home on Sept. 9 th , 2026, in Fort Worth at the age of 44. He was born on Jan. 14, 1982, to Edward and Linda Muñoz and awaits his god Jehovah’s promise of a resurrection, a promise based on the bible that he truly believed with his whole heart since being raised as a child as a Jehovah’s witness. Even in his later years he was truly trying to rekindle his relationship with his god Jehovah by studying the bible again with the witnesses and even trying to attend meetings at the Kingdom Hall. Cristian graduated from Paschal High school in 2000. He continued his education to become a pharmacy tech and worked for A&P pharmacy for a few years. Later he worked from home, even up to his last day of life as a supervisor for many years for Qualtrics (formerly known as Press Gayney , formerly known as DSS Research.) He was a very sweet and loving son and shared a very special bond with his older brother Caleb and truly treasured a very special relationship with his only sister Cristal who he loved and adored. Cristian had one niece, Gabriela (Gaby) Muñoz, who he had the privilege to watch grow up into the beautiful and intelligent young lady who always brought so much sunshine and laughter into his life. It appears that Cristian touched many people’s hearts including family, friends, co- workers, and special friends at the kingdom hall. We are astonished by the many stories that his friends, co-workers, and family have shared with us. This brings so much comfort to our hearts knowing how he was loved by many. His laughter, beautiful heart, and the way he loved those around him will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. Cristian leaves behind a family who will deeply miss him every day, more than words can say, but will carry his memory and his love with them forever. The Muñoz family wish to thank everyone (family, friends, co-workers) for the outpouring love and support they have received at this very hard and painful unexpected time. He is survived by his loving parents, Edward and Linda Muñoz, brother Caleb Muñoz (wife Blanca), sister Cristal Muñoz Smith (husband Branon) and one very special niece Gabriela Renee Muñoz. Cristian was preceded in death by his grandmothers (Guadalupe Muñoz and Ambrosia Castro) and his aunt Amy Muñoz Caro. He was also preceded in death by his true and faithful best friend, Winston Farnsworth Muñoz (his dog) who for 11 years brought so much joy to his life. Your generosity during this difficult time means more than we can express. To my loving son Cristian: Being your mother was my greatest joy and honor in my life. I am not saying goodbye. I know I will see you very soon, my sweet boy, again. As you sleep, you will carry my love with you, always and forever (John 11:11-14). I will miss you so much. You will always be remembered and forever missed. Love mom. To my special little boy. In the words of James Taylor: So close your eyes. You can close your eyes, its alright. I don’t know no love songs. And I cant sing the blues anymore. But I can sing this song. And you can sing this song when I’m gone. It won’t be long before another day. We gonna have a good time and no one’s gonna take that time away. I love you, my son. Dad To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Cristian Edward Munoz please visit our Sympathy Store.
