Trill Burgers No. 4 will open for business on Westheimer Friday morning, making it the newest addition to the burger joint’s expansion in the Houston area.
The popular eatery founded by Houston rapper Bun B has become a local fixture for its signature two-patty smash burger with caramelized onions, pickles and in-house Trill Sauce on a potato roll.
The new restaurant at 7616 Westheimer is expected to have late-night drive through in October, according to an Instagram post with Bun B announcing the opening of the new location.
Trill Burgers started with pop up locations throughout the Houston area in 2021 during the COVID pandemic and gained enough traction to get the attention of Good Morning America, which in 2022 deemed it the “best burger in America.” The burger was also a hit at Coachella in 2022.
Bernard James Freeman, known professionally as Bun B, is originally from Port Arthur and was half of UGK, an early Southern rap duo.
