Heavy delays are expected in Addison after an accident shut down all northbound lanes of Dallas North Tollway early Tuesday morning.
All lanes closed on the toll road at Belt Line Road just before 5 a.m., according to a traffic alert from North Texas Tollway Authority. NTTA warned that drivers should expect heavy delays in the area.
It is not immediately clear if the collision caused any injuries or when the lanes will reopen.
Another incident to be on the lookout for is in the southeastern portion of the region. All lanes of eastbound U.S. 175 at Loop 12 were closed as of about 6:30 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Transportation’s incidents map.

TxDOT’s traffic camera showed traffic severely backed up shortly after 6:30 a.m. According to reports from CBS, the lanes were shut down due to crash involving a semitruck, which also resulted in downed power lines.
