Cowboys move Locke to IR, sign Barron from practice squad

Locke will miss at least the next four games. In the offseason, he signed a one-year contract worth $4 million with $1.5 million guaranteed.

With the Cowboys shorthanded at cornerback, with Cobie Durant (hamstring) ruled out for Sunday’s game, the team elevated cornerback Reddy Steward from the practice squad.

Also, the team lost veteran guard Laken Tomlinson from the practice squad. The Green Bay Packers signed Tomlinson to their active roster.

Tomlinson was signed to the practice squad on Sept. 9 to provide depth to a unit that lost guard Tyler Smith to thumb surgery.
