Multiple people were arrested Thursday night in a North Houston raid involving drugs and weapons.
The Texas Department of Public Safety led a joint operation at a building on West Hardy Road. Other agencies involved included the Houston Police Department, Harris County Precinct 3 and the federal Drug Enforcement Agency.
“A joint operation in the Houston area brought together TXDPS, #HPD, #Harris County Precinct 3, and the #DEA,” according to a Friday morning X post from the DPS Southeast Region. “Multiple people were arrested, drugs were seized and weapons taken off the streets. Strong partnerships help keep our communities safe.”
OnScene TV video taken late Thursday at the scene showed what appeared to be a one-story commercial building near the Hardy Toll Road with windows broken out and blinds torn down following the operation.
DPS Lt. Erik Burse said the agency is not releasing additional information at this time.
