If you already buy too many purses, this is bad news for your wallet. But if you’re a San Antonian who always has your eye on another Coach bag, it may actually be good news.

The New York-based fashion house Coach is nearing completion on a third Alamo City location, site plans and regulatory filings reveal. When it opens, shoppers will be able to find it on the eastern side of the Alamo Quarry Market shopping center, sandwiched between brunch spot Snooze and Crumbl Cookies.

According to a site plan from American Assets (the real estate investment trust that owns and manages the shopping center), Coach will take up two suite spaces. Previous images on Google Maps show that these two suites used to be a Spectrum store and a GameStop, which shuttered earlier this year as the gaming retailer closed hundreds of locations nationwide.

A filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration reveals more details. It backs up the plan for two suites, putting the total footprint at 5,205 square feet. It comes with a $910,875 price tag for renovations and work began back in July, the TDLR filing states. A local TikTok user even spotted signage going up on the outside windows, and many commenters speculated that it could be a Coach outlet or include a Coach Coffee Shop like the Austin Domain location.

Time will tell, but the TDLR filing places a construction end date for mid-October. MySA reached out to Coach and American Assets for more information, but did not hear back at the time of publication.
