SAN ANTONIO – A local Chick-fil-A restaurant location is mourning the death of one of its leaders, Alejandro Garza.
In a Facebook post, Chick-fil-A at Woodlake Parkway and FM 78 said it was sharing “the passing of one of our beloved Chick-fil-A Woodlake Parkway leaders, Alejandro Garza.”
The restaurant said Garza had been part of the Woodlake Parkway team for more than three years. According to the post, he worked as a Chick-fil-A delivery driver and most recently served as a closing lead. The restaurant also said he helped care for its delivery vehicles and “was always willing to step in wherever he was needed.”
The post also highlighted Garza’s role as the Chick-fil-A Cow, calling him “truly the BEST at it,” and said he loved “making people smile, taking pictures with families, dancing, and bringing joy to our guests.”
“But the roles he held could never fully describe who Alejandro was or what he meant to us,” the restaurant wrote. “He was our friend.”
The restaurant asked the community to keep Garza’s family, loved ones, friends and the restaurant’s team “in your prayers as we walk through this incredibly difficult loss.”
