Was that a turning point in the Cowboys’ season?
The Cowboys’ devastating 34-31 loss to the Ravens included a host of late-game errors that cost Dallas what would have been a huge win. Now, Dallas is left to pick up the pieces with a 1-2 record and a sense of urgency to get the season back on track. If the Cowboys can’t turn their season in the right direction, Sunday’s loss in Brazil will loom large.
The Dallas Morning News’ Cowboys insiders Calvin Watkins and Joseph Hoyt broke down what went wrong. From Dallas’ mismanagement of the clock, to Brian Schottenheimer’s decision to not force the Ravens to return the final kickoff of the game, to the Cowboys’ appalling defensive display in the final seconds of the game, they discussed it all.
Up next for the 1-2 Cowboys is a road trip against an 0-3, but talented and desperate Houston Texans team.
