When the Savannah Bananas came to town, Jackson Olson and his Dancing with the Stars partners found a place to practice in North Texas.
DALLAS — As you’ve probably heard, the Savannah Bananas were in town this weekend, selling out Globe Life Field and generally putting on a show for North Texas fans.
Jackson Olson, one of the most well-known Bananas, has another big show coming up: Dancing With the Stars. Which means Olson and his pro Emma Slater need to practice while in town, with plenty of room for big moves and big personality.

So where did the pair go? To the Dr. Marcelo Cavazos Center for Visual and Performing Arts at Arlington ISD, according to the district.
“When one of the biggest names in entertainment needed a place to rehearse for Dancing with the Stars, he found it in Arlington ISD,” the district said in a Facebook post. “This world-class facility prepares our students and professionals for the biggest stages.”
A peek at the facility was visible in the pairs’ TikTok videos posted over the weekend. One of which pointed out that Olson was going into rehearsal after two high-energy Bananas games.
The pair also posted several photos and videos from the Bananas game at Globe Life Field. The newest episode of Dancing with the Stars premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
