After overcoming years of chronic pain caused by severe scoliosis and successfully recovering from corrective surgery, she returned to her activities with renewed determination and purpose. Through her involvement with AliefVotes, she has advanced from volunteer to student administrator, helping organize community blood drives and civic engagement initiatives recognized throughout the Houston area. She currently leads efforts for the Made in Alief Art Show and Gallery Walk, celebrating student creativity and community involvement.
