White Settlement Brewer senior running back Kameron Coleman announced his commitment to Wyoming Tuesday on social media.

“I wanna thank god and my family, friends, teammates and coaches for their belief in me,” Coleman wrote on X. “I really appreciate every one of you. Yall have made me become a better person teammate and leader on and off the field. I couldn’t ask for more. After my official visit at Wyoming, I knew exactly where to call home.

“[Wyoming coaches] believed in me from the beginning and checked in on me and my family every week and that truly meant everything to me. With that being said I am here to announce that I am fully committed to the University of Wyoming.”

Coleman has been one of the most productive running backs in the Fort Worth-area. As a junior, he rushed for 1,804 yards on 272 attempts with 133 yards as a receiver en route to Second Team All-Area honors. He tallied 21 total touchdowns, leading Brewer to a bi-district playoff appearance.

“He comes to work every day and works hard,” Brewer head coach Marte Amrine Jr. said after a Week 5 win over North Side. “I love him. He’s a great kid. We know what he can do. And he’s gotten so much better. He’s gained about 15 pounds from last year. He runs stronger and runs harder.”

Through five games in 2026, he has 585 yards and 12 TDs — his workload is expected to increase as Brewer (4-1, 2-0) gets in closer bouts. It could be a special year for the Bears, as they expected to compete among District 4-5A Division I’s best and haven’t won a playoff game since the 1989 season.

Coleman burst onto the scene as a sophomore, earning district newcomer of the year honors with 1,526 rushing yards and 14 total TDs. He’s not the only Fort Worth-area recruit to committed to Wyoming, as Fort Worth All Saints defensive lineman Kingston Beyer has also pledged his talents to the Cowboys.
