SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A fight outside a Northwest Side restaurant turned deadly Monday evening when a driver ran down two people walking away, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

Investigators say 36-year-old Dionsiah Kazuko Edwards-Carpeal argued with a man and a woman from inside her car in the 9700 block of Data Point Drive, near Wurzbach Road.

Police say Edwards-Carpeal followed the pair as they walked away, then drove straight into them.

A 37-year-old woman died from her injuries at a local hospital. A 39-year-old man was also hit, but police have not released details on his condition.

Bexar County court records show officers arrested Edwards-Carpeal on charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The investigation continues.
