AUSTIN, Texas — Severe weather moving across Texas brought flooding to multiple areas Tuesday morning, including a water rescue in Abilene and reports of water on roadways from the Lubbock area to San Antonio and west of Austin.
Emergency officials across the state were monitoring conditions and urging drivers to stay off flooded roads. Texas game wardens said they have teams staged across the state, and FEMA said it is responding. The repeated warning from agencies was not to drive through flooded roads.
