A couple of cast members from “The Madison” are teasing when the show premieres season 2 and begins filming season 3.

The Taylor Sheridan-created Paramount+ series premiered its six-episode first season in March. “The Madison” splits filming between Montana and North Texas, where the region stands in for New York City.

A second season is already in the can, although Paramount has yet to set a release date. Paramount confirmed a third season order in mid-April, just a month after the show premiered.

Now, series co-stars Kevin Zegers and Danielle Vasinova, who play married couple Cade and Kestrel Harris, are saying the season 2 release and season 3 filming will both happen in 2027.

At UFC 331 in Setember, Zegers told US Magazine that season 3 filming begins early next year.

“So, having made the second now, we’re going back to make the third at the beginning of next year,” he said.

Zegers continued that he’s elated with how “The Madison” was received by fans. The show was a ratings hit, scoring 8 million views globally in its first 10 days of release.

“You never really know,” Zegers said. “You kind of know with Taylor, but it’s still kind of where you never know if people are gonna resonate with it. Clearly, it had an impact, which makes me happy.”

Vasinova had a similar reaction to the success of the first season, and looks forward to fans checking out season 2 early next year.

“I got cast in the show back in 2024, and our first season came out in 2026, and then season 2 is going to come out top of 2027,” Vasinova told US Magazine. “And we’ll be back shooting season 3 for top of 2027 as well, so stay tuned.”

“The Madison” is described as a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family (the Clyburns) in the Madison River valley of central Montana.”

Before premiering this spring, “The Madison” filmed its first season in 2024 and second in 2025. This was done to accommodate Kurt Russell’s schedule, as he was filming “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” in 2024, and joined “The Madison” cast a year later to film scenes for both seasons.

Several Fort Worth locations appeared in season 1, including restaurants like Emilia’s, Clay Pigeon and Wicked Butcher. The Modern Art Museum also makes an appearance. The Star-Telegram put together a map of all the Fort Worth locations, which can be viewed here.

In addition to the previously mentioned cast, “The Madison” stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick J. Adams, Matthew Fox, Elle Chapman, Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Rebecca Spence and Will Arnett.

“The Madison” season 1 is streaming on Paramount+.
