According to the Austin Energy outage map, as of nearly 2 p.m. on Thursday, 12 active outages are affecting 404 customers in Austin.

The largest outage underway currently is in the Great Hills area of Northwest Austin with approximately 115 customers affected. Austin Energy crews are working to resolve the outages, with an estimated restoration time around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Among those impacted include some local businesses, with the Emergency Animal Hospital of Crystal Falls confirming they were experiencing a power outage alongside Central Texas College’s main campus. Crews have either confirmed, dispatched or are actively working at those sites to restore service.

The National Weather Service (NWS) predicts another round of strong storms on Tuesday, so outages may occur through the day and into the night. A flood watch is in effect through 7 p.m. Several roads in the greater Austin area and surrounding Hill Country cities are closed due to flooding, as well.
