A master-planned residential development with more than 900 homes is planned in far north Fort Worth’s booming Bonds Ranch corridor.
Engineers for Green Brick Partners, a Plano-based home building company, have filed a preliminary plat with the city of Fort Worth for a 320-acre residential development called “Rivella” between Peden Road and Bonds Ranch road, west of North Saginaw Boulevard and east of Morris Dido Newark Road.
The development would include 960 homes, with 9.29 acres of parkland and 21.25 acres of commercial space.
The engineering firm listed on city paperwork is Houston-based LJA Engineering, which is also the applicant for a 337-acre development planned near the intersection of Blue Sky Drive and West Bonds Ranch road as well as a project near Eagle Mountain Lake.
The project is one of several planned in an intensely growing area of Fort Worth.
More than 300 homes are planned for a development near Boat Club Road and Morris Dido Newark Road.
An 800-acre development with 1,100 homes is planned near Bonds Ranch Road and Peden Road, directly west of the Rivella development.
