Officials said in a Facebook post that they encourage travelers to check their flight status through airline apps or alerts before leaving for the airport.

Drivers should make a parking plan and allow extra travel time. Travelers using rideshare services or public transit should prepare for longer waits.

Airport officials also urged passengers to arrive earlier than usual and pack essentials, including medications, chargers and extra clothing, in carry-on bags in case of extended delays.
