As severe weather pummels San Antonio and other parts of Texas, here’s how school districts around the Alamo City are responding, including some that are delaying or canceling classes and events out of caution.

Much of South Central Texas is under a flood watch until Friday evening, according to the National Weather Service Austin/San Antonio office. “Heavy rainfall may lead to life-threatening flash flooding somewhere in the Watch area,” the NWS noted. Storms may also bring strong winds and hail. Residents should stay weather-aware and have multiple ways to receive updates on the situation.
