Southwest expands Austin flights with new routes

Starting next summer, the Dallas carrier will offer weekend service between Austin and Liberia, Costa Rica, Nassau, Bahamas and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic through June and July. Southwest will also introduce limited service between Austin and Savannah, Ga., along with Bozeman, Mont.

The airline’s nearly 4,500 scheduled trips on peak days next summer are the most ever offered in its summer schedule, Southwest said.
