Arlington police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who allegedly tried to record video of a teenage girl inside a store.
Detectives think the man was carrying a recording device inside a bag when he approached the teen, police said in a Facebook post Friday.
“The camera was reportedly angled upward, and the teen was wearing a skirt,” the post reads.
A woman with the teen saw the camera and pulled the girl away, police said. She reported the incident to store staff, who notified security and Arlington police.
The man left the store before officers could locate him. Police did not say where the incident occurred.
Anyone who recognizes the individual is asked to call Detective Bunster at 682-382-1617. Anonymous tips can be phoned in to Crime Stoppers of Tarrant County at 817-469-8477.
