A Plano man has been charged with criminal damage to property and obstructing a Plano police officer.
At 1:04 p.m. Oct. 3, Plano Police responded to the 300 block on Park Street for a report of domestic disturbance, which led to the destruction of several personal items, according to a report from the Plano Police Department
While trying to arrest Ruben Gonzalez, 31, he allegedly began actively resisting Plano police officers, which led to him getting tased and placed into custody, according to the report.
Gonzalez was transported to a local hospital for further medical assistance and was charged with criminal damage to property and obstructing a police officer.
He was released from custody at the hospital, according to the report.
