Get ready to enjoy free concerts on three stages as the annual Texas Jazz Festival returns for its 64th year Oct. 17.

The three-day event will be open at Heritage Park from 5 p.m. to midnight Oct. 17, noon to 12:30 a.m. Oct. 18 and noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 19.

Along with music, attendees can enjoy tasty food, drinks and goods from local vendors.

There are three stages ― CITGO North Stage, H-E-B South Stage and L&F Distributors Center Stage ― that will be hosting musicians. For more information, visit texasjazz-fest.org.

Know before you go

Tickets will need to be purchased for all drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Food vendors and market vendors do not require tickets. Tickets are sold in $1 increments.

The Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority will provide a free Park and Ride service at City Hall and the Nueces County Courthouse. Buses will pick up and drop off every 10 to 15 minutes.

No coolers, ice chests or alcoholic beverages may be brought in.

Dogs are welcome, as long as they are on a leash. Be responsible and pick up after your pet.

It is recommended to bring your own lawn chairs as seating is limited.

All credit card purchases will have a $5 minimum and a 5% service fee.
