SAN ANTONIO — The Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco hosted their largest fundraising event in the province’s 91-year San Antonio history Saturday at the University of the Incarnate Word’s Rosenberg Sky Room.
The “All-In for Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco” gala included dinner, live music and a live auction. Proceeds supported the sisters’ educational and faith-formation ministries in San Antonio.
Founded in 1872 by St. John Bosco, the Salesian Sisters serve young people in 98 countries through education, faith formation and mentorship. The congregation gained national attention during the NBA Finals this spring and is known locally as the “Spurs Nuns.”
