A listing in Westlake set a new bar for Tarrant County home listings.
The mansion, at 1112 Post Oak Place, was listed for $27.75 million on Sept. 15, according to Zillow. The home’s 1½-acre lot overlooks a lake and the golf course of Vaquero Club, a luxury golf community.
The mansion set the record for the highest-priced listing in Tarrant County, according to the home’s brokerage firm. It’s being marketed as “Philoxenia,” which means “friendship to strangers” in Greek.
The home was built in 2009, and its owners undertook the four-year renovation, focusing on trim work, stone fabrication and custom detailing.
The property includes a pool with a black granite waterfall and a golfing green. Other features include a hidden speakeasy, a panic room, a sports court, a five-car garage, an indoor golf simulator and a Vaquero Golf Membership, pending approval.
